Dekoland is an prestige interior studio in Slovakia. The original site was out-dated an in need of re-branding. In this field of business is competition tough and it’s vital to catch customer attention straight away.

The main idea of the project is to create a clean, informative website for interior studio. It should showcase main services and activities together with promotion of already finished projects.

Project introduction

The client left me with full responsibility over the design. The only requirement was regarding the turquoise color to be included within the logo and website.

UX Challenges

The UI and UX are the major aspects of a website design. These two need to grab the attention of users, in order to be successful over the web. The main challenge is to attract more and more people to Dekoland website and adhere the rules of making a website good in design and also in user experience.

UX Goals

Create a website which is easy to navigate on and pass on valuable information to it’s customers.

Before

The web design was outdated and in need of re-branding. On the top of that, poorly chosen typography, which didn’t handle Slovakian special characters which created unreadable text.

After

The total outlook of the web page has changed together with logo . The information structure was carefully crafted with user in mind. After couple of rounds of user testing the final flaws were eliminated and website was ready for the world.

I approached Patricia to redesign my old website and create branding for the
company. I did not have any specific requirements or idea of how my website
and branding should look. Patricia totally nailed it! It's modern and glamorous
the same as my brand. On top of that, she is a positive person, which made
communication very pleasant. I am excited about this co-operation, and I
would hire her again.
